SAVE THE DATE: In collaboration with Lajna Ima'illah USA & MKA USA, first-ever Summer Camp for Waqifeen-e-Nau (Boys) and Waqifaat-e-Nau (Girls) is being held between August 11th & August 17th, 2024. Inshallah. Waqifaat Camp will be held at Masjid Masroor, South Virginia while Waqifeen-e-Nau (Boys) camp will be held at Baitur Rahman, Maryland. MORE INFORMATION WILL BE PROVIDED SOON. Camp Highlights:

Following are some highlights for the Summer Camp which are subject to change. Waqifaat-e-Nau programs are being organized by Lajna Ima’illah USA with assistance and guidance from the National Waqf-e-Nau Department.

Frequently Asked Questions

12 to 23 years old Waqifeen-e-Nau Only.  Must be at least 12 by June 18th, 2023. If you are an older Waqf-e-Nau, you may volunteer to help us.

Yes. Registration is required and may close based on attendance and occupancy requirements. Those who wait to register till late may not be able to attend if the capacity is reached.

We will send you more information after your registration regarding accommodation, transportation, and much more. Please note that if you are flying for the Ijtema, you should reach out to wn.events@ahmadiyya.us to confirm your registration is confirmed before you buy the ticket.

From Fajr Monday, June 19th, 2023 till Magrib, Thursday, June 22nd. However, all participants must arrive on June 18th. No Exceptions.

No, all attendees have to attend the full duration of the camp. If you are attending partially, you may not be allowed to attend altogether. Please reach out to National Secretary Waqf-e-Nau Sahib to seek an exception using the form here: https://www.waqfenau.us/contact-us/

We will send you a complete list of items to bring after your registration, however, you should bring any medication you take regularly. 

Always remember to limit the amount of valuables and electronics you bring with you. All of your needs will be taken care of by the organizers and any downtime should be spent getting to know your fellow Waqfeen.

There is no travel subsidy from the Waqf-e-Nau USA Department. However, Atfal or Khuddam attending the National Ijtema (23 - 25th June), can apply for the subsidy, through MKA USA. You can request a travel subsidy by filling this form here

Waqifaat-e-Nau (Girls) who want to fly in and have concerns about the cost of travel, may reach out to wnevents.asst@lajnausa.net. Please note there is no guarantee that you will get a subsidy, however, we will try to accommodate the best we can. Inshallah.

Yes, once you register we will reach out to you to gather your flight details. A member of the transportation team will pick up/drop you off at the airport. Please note that you must arrive on the 18th of June. 

For boys, you must attend the MKA National Ijtema (see FAQ # 19).

For Girls, your closing session is in the early afternoon so you must book your flights ideally after 4:00 pm Thursday (please reach out to us for any issues)

Yes, all participants will be accommodated fully in the Masjid.

Due to the nature of the camp, all participants will be required to stay on Masjid premises at all times.

Those who are within driving distance, please check with your local Waqf-e-Nau secretary or arrange your own transportation. Those flying in will be picked up an dropped off inshallah.

We have limited spots available for you to attend as a volunteer as a Waqf-e-Arzi. Please reach out to wn.waqfearzi@ahmadiyya.us to apply. Please wait for confirmation before making any travel plans.

Camp for the boys is taking place at Baitur Rahman, the National Ijtema will start at the conclusion of the camp.

Ideally,

Boys

BWI is the preferred airport. Alternatively, you can arrive at IAD and DCA.

Girls

IAD (Dulles International Airport) is the closest and preferred airport to fly into.

All Atfal and Khuddam Waqifeen-e-nau who wish to attend the Waqf-e-nau summer camp MUST also attend the Atfal and Khuddam National Ijtema. Your registration to the summer camp will be canceled if you are not registered and attend the Ijtema. If you need an exception, please request written permission from Sadr MKA or Mohtamim Atfal.
