I am flying in, are there any subsidies?
Let us remember the inspiring example set by our forefathers. Despite having very limited means, they joyfully bore the entire cost of their travels to attend Ijtema'at, Jalsa Salana, and other Jama'at events, driven by pure devotion. Today, Almighty Allah has abundantly blessed the members of the USA Jama'at. We encourage everyone to honor this beautiful legacy by personally funding their journeys to these spiritually uplifting events.
To minimize expenses, we encourage you to coordinate with your local secretary to organize group travel. By traveling together, you can significantly reduce individual costs.
Will the transportation be provided from/to the airport?
Yes. After you register, we will contact you to collect your flight details. A member of the transportation team will coordinate your airport pick-up and drop-off. If you are flying in, please plan to arrive on June 19 (one day before the start of the camp).
Which airport should I fly into?
- Preferred airport: ONT (Ontario International Airport) — approximately 15 minutes from the masjid.
- Alternate airports we can support:
- SNA (John Wayne / Orange County Airport) — 60+ minutes away
- LAX (Los Angeles International Airport) — ~75 minutes away
Is accommodation provided by Jama’at?
Yes, all participants will be fully accommodated on-site at Baitul Hameed Mosque.
Can I stay off-site?
Due to the nature of the camp, all participants are encouraged to stay on the mosque premises at all times. However, local Waqifeen-e-Nau and participants with written permission from their parents/guardians may stay off-site with a relative or family.
Is transportation provided by Jama’at to come to the camp?
No. If you live within driving distance, please check with your local Waqf-e-Nau secretary or arrange your own transportation. Those flying in will be picked up and dropped off at the airport(s), Insha'Allah.
Is there an upper age limit to attend the camp? I'm 18+ and would like to attend.
We have limited spots available for you to attend as a Waqf-e-Arzi volunteer. Please reach out to wn.waqfearzi@ahmadiyya.us to apply. Please wait for our confirmation before making any travel plans.
