Primary Objective of the Ijtema:

The purpose of the ijtema is for waqifeen-e-nau to join together to enhance their moral state, to increase their religious knowledge, to better understand their objectives and above all, to be inspired towards developing an everlasting bond with Allah the Almighty.... been arranged to facilitate your religious training and spiritual development so that you become closer to Allah the Almighty as seeking His nearness is the ultimate objective for every waqif-e-zindagi – rather, every true Muslim.
Why should you attend the Ijtema:
Waqf-e-Nau Department does not hold an annual National Waqf-e-Nau Ijtema. Instead, every year, we hold regional ijtema’at across 16 regions for Waqifeen-e-Nau boys and Waqifaat-e-Nau. These regional ijtema’at are meant to bring Waqifeen-e-Nau from our region together to strengthen their faith, learn from one another and develop a sense of brotherhood/sisterhood. Based on the instruction from Hazrat Khalifatul Masih (aba), National Waqf-e-Nau Department ensures that these Regional Ijtema are organized with no Waqf-e-Nau left behind thus Every Waqf-e-Nau, regardless of age should attend the Ijtema including life Devotees.What's new this Year?
We have a revised format with Ijtema happening in October and giving us more time so Inshallah, we will start at 10 AM and end at 7:00 PM across all 16 Ijtema’at. Theme of the Ijtema this year is the 10 Conditions of Bai’at. Moreover, there will be no combined sessions or programs between the Waqifaat-e-Nau and Waqifeen-e-Nau male members. Sports & Games time-slots have now been added this year.
Like the last few years, there will be NO Syllabi competitions at the Ijtema this year. All Waqifeen-e-Nau between 2 and 21 years old should take part in the Bi-Annual Exams between October 1st and November 5th, 2025. More info at https://www.waqfenau.us/exams/
All Waqifeen-e-Nau (2 – 16 years old) who passed with at least 75% in their Fall 2025 (Oct-Nov) and Spring 2026 Exams (April-May) will, inshallah, be recognized at their respective Regional Ijtema.What to expect at the Ijtema:

Who Should Attend the Ijtema?
All Waqifeen-e-Nau regardless of their age should attend the Regional Ijtema. Parents of the Waqifeen-e-Nau are highly encouraged to attend as well. At the end of the day, parents are the ones who pledged their unborn child to the blessed scheme of Waqf-e-Nau and they should take an active part in these Waqf-e-Nau programs.
